Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo that uses specialized pigments to enhance features like brows, lips, or eyeliner. It mimics makeup and lasts 1–3+ years depending on skin type and lifestyle.

Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort rather than pain. Topical numbing agents are used to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

Results typically last 1–3 years. Factors like skin type, sun exposure, skincare products, and lifestyle habits can make pigment fade faster or slower.

Expect mild redness, swelling, and scabbing or flaking in the first 3–10 days. Full healing (including pigment settling beneath the skin) takes about 4–6 weeks.

Yes, a perfecting session is usually needed 6–8 weeks after the initial appointment to refine shape and color.

When performed by a licensed and trained professional in a sterile environment using high-quality pigments and disposable tools, it is considered safe. Proper aftercare is essential.

Absolutely. Shape is custom-mapped to your facial features and color is chosen based on your undertones, skin type, and desired outcome.

People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, prone to keloids, on certain medications (like Accutane or some blood thinners), or with uncontrolled medical conditions may not be eligible.

Avoid caffeine, alcohol, blood thinners, NSAID’s 12 hours prior, and certain skincare products (like retinol or acids) 24–48 hours prior. For brow services, avoid waxing or tinting a week before.

Shape and color are pre-approved with you before tattooing begins. If you contact BeEnhanced Studio within 24-72 hours from your procedure, we offer emergency removal services. Otherwise, adjustments can be made at the touch-up. In rare cases, saline lightening or laser removal is an option.
